The CCN-Ballet de Lorraine has a vast repertory and for more than seven years Luc Verbitzky has been exploring its breadth through guest choreographers and teachers. During the workshop, he will share the discoveries and experiences he has had with choreographers such as Thomas Hauert, Rachid Ouramdane, and Miguel Gutierrez, in terms of their approach to the GROUP and the INDIVIDUAL. From warm-ups to work sessions, it is all about experiencing different movement throughout the day: daily discipline for the dancers of the CCN-Ballet de Lorraine. On stage we are alone – together!

Luc Verbitzky
began dancing at the age of 15 in Aveyron. After intensive studies at the Carole Massoutié Academy, he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) and graduated with honours in 2014. He then joined the CCN-Ballet de Lorraine. He has danced for Itamar Serussi, Alban Richard, Miguel Gutierrez, Maud Le Pladec, and Rachid Ouramdane, and has explored the movement styles of William Forsythe, Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown, and Twyla Tharp, performing internationally on prestigious stages such as the Joyce Theater in New York, the Beijing Opera or the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris. In 2018, he obtained the State Diploma of dance teacher.
