Through Le Poids des choses – The Weight of Things – and choreographer Dominique Brun’s interpretation of Serguei Prokofiev’s Pierre et le Loup, you will discover what Laban called the “palette” of effort adapted by the choreographer to characterize each persona in Pierre et le Loup: Pierre tapping, the bird fluttering, the cat gliding, the Grandfather squeezing, the duck dusting, the hitting and whipping of peculiar hunters.
