Week-end of Immersion in
African-American Dance

  • The CCNO and Engrenage[s], under the artistic direction of choreographer Marie Houdin, are offering a unique weekend of 70’s African-American social dances, a genre that includes hip hop. Social dances, urban dances, club dances, dances anchored in historical heritage: come and see, dance, and soak in these styles with three dancers from Engrenage[s]. Over the course of a weekend, the CCNO will become a groove nation in the heart of Orléans. From morning to night, all the CCNO studios will be vibrating hip hop, funk, disco, house, brass band nola: come on and get down!
