Clara Furey, on stage with Winnie Ho and Be Heintzman Hope, builds an architecture of pleasure. Empathy and attentive listening to the needs of the body and others nourish this inhabited trio, which works the movement over time, the persistence, seeking to release tensions by insisting on the repetition of endless loops. Dog Rising invites to an extreme physical journey, a bewitching, haunting, penetrating spiral. An invitation to build and regenerate physical strength from shocks, discomfort mutated into joy.

Clara Furey
is a choreographer and performer based in Montreal, and operating within Par B.L.eux. Her work, at the intersection between choreographic movement and performance art, seeks to trace the links between mediums, beings, and senses. In 2017, she choreographed her first group work, Cosmic Love. She also gave 90 performances of her solo piece When Even The as part of the MAC exhibition honouring Leonard Cohen, A Crack in Everything. Her latest creation, Rather a Ditch, is a solo piece performed by Céline Bonnier. It premiered at the FTA 2019. She is currently working on a new piece.
