Fruit TReE

« Fruit Tree finds its origins in my desire to create an intense, sensual, raw, wild piece, in which melancholy and joy come together.
Above all, I like being anchored in a form of tradition, its diversions, and the shifts that this allows. I like when materials and subjects collide to form a kind of intentionally incongruous and paradoxical harmony.
I would like to present on stage a form inspired by a workshop atmosphere, in which it would be possible to evoke in a non-hierarchical way through unexpected rituals: Bronislava Nijinska, the freedom of dancing bodies and their voices, Les Noces by Igor Stravinsky, various beliefs in the hair matter, as well as the symbolism of fruit trees and their root network. » — Lara Barsacq
