Rémy Héritier
Born in 1977, Rémy is a dancer-choreographer who has to date created over a dozen choreographic works. Through his various choreographic approaches he engages resurgences of temporal and spatial strata, excavating the depth of the past to arrive at the present. This archaeological dig, in its given context – his personal dance history and that of his collaborators – allows him to expand the contours of dance to intertextuality and to documentation, thus summoning new poetics of gesture.
