Andréa will take the opportunity of this workshop to go through the different dynamics of the movement. This return to the fundamentals of contemporary dance will allow participants to enhance their artistic vocabulary and develop their identity through improvisation.
Andréa Moufounda began contemporary dance at the age of five in Burgundy. She entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2015. As part of her training in contemporary dance, she works with Edmond Russo (Cie Affari Esteri) and Cheryl Therrien (Cunningham). She has also met Judith Sanchez Ruiz, Julyen Hamilton, Sarah Cerneaux, Roy Assaf and Mathilde Monnier, all of whom contribute to her dance, which she describes as fluid, powerful and spatial, with a sensitive approach to movement. Her curiosity and thirst for new experiences lead her to become familiar with the energy of urban and experimental dances, through workshops or even battle (with the association WYNKL in particular). After obtaining her DNSP, Andréa will work with Fanny Azzuro and Parelle Gervasoni, with the Kashyl Company for the creation Distances and with the Compagnie par Terre / Anne Nguyen for the show À mon bel amour.
