A workshop joyfully blending dance and song through a range of techniques stemming from the performance t u m u l u s. Enjoy the (im)possibilities of combining physical and vocal actions, exploring canons and choral singing, breath deep or gasping, feet and heart beating.
Let yourself be transformed by the repetition of ritual gestures and incantations in tender and macabre collective promenades.
Maryfé Singy
graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in contemporary dance from La Manufacture, Haute école des Arts de la Scène in Lausanne, in 2017, under the artistic direction of Thomas Hauert. During her dance training, she discovered the practice of singing and decided to deepen the study of that discipline in Italy. She is currently studying Baroque and Renaissance singing technique and repertoire in the class of Gloria Banditelli at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Girolamo Frescobaldi in Ferrara. At the same time, she is collaborating with Gloria Giovannini and the Associazione Culturale Arcanto in Bologna on diverse artistic and pedagogical projects.
