Twenty-seven perspectives

Maud Le Pladec

Creation 2018

Created on July 3rd and 4th, 2018 at Théâtre de l’Agora as part of the 2018 Montpellier Danse Festival.
Performance for 10 dancers
Duration 60 min

In tackling Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, Maud Le Pladec aimed at rendering the invisible visible, reconstructing the score and orchestrating musical variations in an essay at finishing this masterpiece. With this target in mind, she has not hesitated to reinvent her own choreographic expression, entrusting ten dancers from intentionally divergent backgrounds with the pleasure of embodying her pared-down movement. A choreographic symphony of remarkable construction, allowing the music to be heard and the dance to be seen differently.
